Dress up for a night of dancing at Debutante of the Year
THE Swan Creek Hall will be throwing a Debutante of the Year dance on Saturday, August 29.
The Swan Creek Hall Committee wanted to give local women the chance to don their debutante dress once again and enjoy a night of music, dancing and great food.
"We're inviting all 2015 debutantes of the district to come and wear their dress again," Mrs Coy said. "Every debutante will get a little gift to go home with and a lovely sash has been donated by the Swan Creek School of Art Community Hall."
Debutantes will go in the running to win the wonderful hand-made sash.
"There has not been a Debutante of the Year event for many years so we decided to bring it back and give the ladies a chance to dress up and enjoy the festive night."
The night will help raise money for the Swan Creek Hall which hosts the Swan Creek Dance Academy who conduct very informal old-time dancing classes every Tuesday.
