Drewery one to watch for Redbacks

CRICKET: The unbeaten Maryvale Condamine play Sovereign Animals at Mayhew Oval on Saturday as cricket resumes after the holiday break.

In the other games on Saturday, Railway Hotel Rascals host Inglewood at Allora and Wheatvale play Colts at Slade Park.

Inglewood has one of the form batsman in the competition in Shane Hooper and start favourites.

In the game on Sunday, Allora and Redbacks meet at Slade Park at 10.30am.

Redbacks are the big improvers in this year's competition after most of their players traded Aussie rules footy boots for a cricket bat and ball in October.

One to watch is all-rounder Dave Drewery, who has performed with bat and ball this season and has the experience to help guide the younger Redbacks around.
