Drifting action revs up

At Carnell Raceway, there is a national round of the Stadium Drift Australia 2011 series tomorrow from 10am.

The first round was at Parklands Showgrounds on the Gold Coast in on the first weekend of March.

Regarded by many of the country's top drift drivers as the best track on the eight-stop tour for the extreme sport of drifting, a capacity field has entered this round to maximise their points in the series.

Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for children under 14, younger children free.

There will be plenty of action at Morgan Park Raceway with round 2 of the Queensland Super Sprints for A series drivers. The sprints always attract 100-plus drivers.
