Driver and passenger run after crashing car into house

POLICE are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a house at Stafford early this morning.

Around 12.30am, the car crashed into the bottom level of a two storey house on Appleby Road.

Two people inside the dwelling at the time of the crash were unhurt.

Two men abandoned the vehicle and were last seen running along Kitchener Road.

They are described as being approximately 173 centimetres tall, with a tanned complexion, short dark hair and wearing shorts but not shirts.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
