Driver arrested after 'crashing on Warwick street'

MEMBERS of the public reported a driver to Warwick police last night after they became concerned about his driving on Albion St.

The 20-year-old was then allegedly involved in a minor traffic crash on Stacey St, with reports suggesting he crashed into a fence.

Warwick Sergeant Greg Burton said police located and arrested the man at Stacey St after the crash.

The New South Wales man was breath tested and returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.108.

Sgt Burton said the man was charged with drink driving and dangerous driving.

He was later released on bail and will appear at Warwick Magistrates Court at a later date.
