Bunch makes his racing comeback

WARWICK driver Bruce Bunch has made a comeback to circuit racing and competing in the Queensland Motor Racing Championships at Morgan Park Raceway at the weekend.

Bunch has returned to circuit racing this year after enjoying great success in sprint events in the past decade.

At the weekend, he competed in a HQ Holden.

Former Warwick driver Gary Bonwick was one of the better performers in the HQ class.

Michael Dawes was the best performer local at the weekend with a third placing in the Gemini class. His sister Rebecca was midfield.

Teresa Campbell qualified fifth in the rain on Saturday and eighth overall for the weekend.

She had a close battle all weekend with fellow Warwick driver Jon Wishart.

This weekend, there is a four-day training course for motor bike riders.
