Driver pulled from car after crash

A TRUCK, car and utility collided on the New England Hwy at about 8am yesterday, 5km north of Allora.

Police believe the accident occurred after one car, travelling south, veered into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

A police spokesman said the truck then avoided hitting one vehicle but collided with the other.

A 55-year-old Warwick man was pulled from a crushed Mazda 2 and taken to Toowoomba Hospital with chest and arm injuries.

The truck driver was from Regency Downs and the utility driver from Deuchar.

They escaped with minor injuries.
