Driver three times over the limit on Darling Downs Hwy

STANTHORPE police have charged a 52-year-old man with drink driving after he was allegedly driving more than three times over the legal limit.

The man allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.176 after he was pulled over on the New England Hwy at Cottonvale on Thursday.

Another man in the car was charged with possessing property suspected of being stolen after he was found with a woman's club membership card.
