Driver totals car after hitting cow on highway

A MAN has walked away unharmed after hitting a cow on the New England Highway near Nobby.
The cow wandered on the road near the intersection with Glover Rd at 8.30pm on Saturday.
Clifton police acting Senior Constable Tylarr Colman said the cow was killed instantly.
"The crash absolutely totalled the Lancer he (the driver) was driving," he said.
