Drivers lucky to walk away from two vehicle crash
TWO drivers were lucky to walk away with only minor injuries this morning after a two vehicle crash on the Toowoomba-Karara Road, just north of Leyburn, at about 9:30am.
Police say a small truck travelling toward Toowoomba appears to have crossed onto the wrong side of the road, colliding with the trailer of a vehicle travelling south.
The small truck has continued off the road and into bushland.
Police, Ambulance and Fire and Rescue officers all attended the scene.
The crash did not obstruct the flow of traffic, with the truck later towed form the scene.
Investigations are continuing into the cause of this crash but police believe fatigue may have been a factor.
