Drivers pulled over on highway in Warwick

TWO drivers failed random drug tests on the side of the road in Warwick on Saturday.

A 40-year-old woman was charged with driving a vehicle in Wallace St while under the influence of a prohibited drug.

Warwick police then charged a 22-year-old man who failed a random drug test in Albion St at 8pm.

He was remanded in custody to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on Monday morning on other outstanding matters.

A court date will be set for the alleged drug driving once the analysis is completed.
