Illegal firearms, marijuana found in Southern Downs raids

CLIFTON Police were joined by the Warwick CIB and other members of the Warwick Police Patrol Group in a drug raid at Headington Hill, east of Clifton, at 9am Friday.

Police located a number of marijuana plants and also illegal firearms on the property.

Senior Constable Tyson Morris, of Clifton Police, said investigations into the matter were ongoing.

"It is expected charges will be laid early this week," he said.
