Weapons and drugs stashed 'all over' on Monto property
UPDATE: A 53-year old man has been arrested after more than 60 firearms, 30 cannabis plants and thousands of rounds of ammunition were seized in a raid at his Cynthia property, outside of Monto, Wednesday morning.
Russell Douglas Drinkwater appeared in Bundaberg District Court on Thursday after weapons including rifles, pistols, silencers and one semi-automatic weapon were found on his property.
Detective sergeant Andrew Self said stashes of weapons were scattered all over the 5500 acre property.

There were 22 officers involved in the 10.30am raid from Bundaberg, Mundubbera, Monto and Eidsvold.
"The weapons were all over the joint," Sgt Self said.
"We used horses, quad bikes and motorbikes."
Mr Drinkwater surrendered peacefully and has been charged with unlawful possession of a Category D weapon and a Category R weapon.
Police opposed his bail and expect to proffer further charges.
His case was adjourned on Thursday and he will reappear in Bundaberg District Court on Monday.
The regions last big weapons raid was at the end of 2013, when police uncovered one of the largest hauls of illegal weapons ever found in Australia at a Moonford property.
