Drum Master looks promising for victory at Allman Park
RACING: EASTERN Downs Racing Association secretary Jim Costello has provided Daily News readers with tips on Saturday's races at Allman Park.
He is a former president of the Warwick Turf Club and is still a club member and one of many hard-working volunteers.
While he takes no responsibility for his selections, he gives punters a few tips on things to consider.
Race 1: Pursehouse Rural Warwick/Allora Class B, 800m, 1.15pm
Small field. Payout on first and second only.
Gold Monarch in good short-course form at TAB meetings and from Barrier 1.
Coalbank Caviar is a specialist at 800m.
Selection: Gold Monarch from Coalbank Caviar.
Race 2: Invergarry Equine Centre/Allora True Hardware Class B, 1350m, 1.50pm
Produce Me Later has drawn well with top rider Gary Geran on board. Form not very good in stronger company so back in grade. Winner at the trip.
Clown In The Moon is locally trained and is back from 2000m stronger race to distance at which she has won. Winner at lpswich.
Noreena is locally trained and last start winner at Plough Inn Cup.
Selection: Produce Me Later from Clown In The Moon and Back Chat.
Race 3: Blue Cox Hotel/ Wattles RLFC Maiden, 1500m, 2.30pm
Not much form in this maiden.
Clear Sailing stands out and is owned by Canning Downs stud at Warwick.
Catena, trained by Tony Gollan, will be coming back a lot in grade if it starts.
Pat's Girl is bred by Neil Werrett. of Black Caviar fame.
Selection: Clear Sailing from Catena and Pat's Girl.
Race 4: Railway Hotel Allora Cup 65 Handicap, 1500m, 3.15pm
Small field. Paying first and second only.
El Venetian win and second placing from three starts at the trip. Good provincial form around Sydney before coming to Queensland. Progressive horse. Jockey Hannah English knows the horse well.
Champagne Rock, although a 10yo, racing well and winner twice at 1500m and last start Gold Coast winner.
Limbo Star the best of the others.

Race 5: Warwick Painting Services/White's Garage Class 3 Plate, 1100m, 4.05pm
Drum Master, the local, races well at home and is in good form. Gary Geran to ride.
Dave's Valor coming from Hansen yard at Sunshine Coast in fair form.
The local Your Option has form at the distance in Victoria before coming here. Had 800m run fortnight ago after a short break. Distance should suit now
Selection: Drum Master from Dave's Valour and Your Option.
Race 6: Arabian Race between eight starters, 4.30pm
Race is for a different group of horses, not thoroughbreds.
