CHOCOLATE, chocolate and more chocolate was the theme of Saturday's Easter Fair for those lucky children who made the most of the fun on offer.

Activities were co-ordinated by Warwick Tourism and Events as part of the Easter Fair's family emphasis.

Activities co-ordinator Kia Sowden said there was plenty to keep the kids entertained while their parents explored the market stalls and enjoyed the live entertainment.

"We organised sack races, egg-and-spoon races with Easter eggs, tug-of-war, three-legged races, potato races, games of duck-duck-goose, stuck in the mud and poison ball, had an Easter egg hunt in the morning and even met the Easter Bunny," Miss Sowden said.

"The Easter egg hunt was at 9am and then there were photos with the Easter Bunny which was very successful."

Southern Downs Regional Council young ambassador and volunteer for the kids' activities, Marliese Miller, said it was great to see the kids having so much fun.

"We had all the different activities for them to enjoy and the parents loved it too because it meant they got to enjoy the markets," Miss Miller said.

Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Tracy Vellacott said the kids had a great time.

"The Easter Bunny was such a huge hit in the morning with so many wanting their photos taken," she said.

"They also enjoyed all the activities Kia organised for them."
