Eastern Downs trots out final win

THE Eastern Downs team of Neville Fanning, Errol Cooper and Glen Holmes won the final of the South Queensland Management Council Inter-branch senior teams campdraft competition at the Warwick Showgrounds on Sunday.

The final was held in conjunction with the Australian Stock Horse Society Nationals.

Fanning and Holmes scored 83 and Cooper 82 to win by 47 points from Balonne. In the juvenile final, the Eastern Downs team of Monique Dwan and Nathan Brown was second.
