Eastern Suburbs eye off game before Broncos at Suncorp
THE Eastern Suburbs Junior Rugby League under-8 team will play on Suncorp Stadium just before the NRL game between Brisbane and Canberra on March 24.
The Suburbs players are required to be at the game at 5.20pm and will play against another U8 team in a fun game before Friday night footy.
Team manager Kylie Hart said all 12 players able to make the trip to Brisbane would play.
"The game will be for around 10 minutes," Kylie said.
"The kids are really excited, they are keen to see the Broncos play."
Coach Darren Hart, manager Kylie Hart and trainer Glenn Wassell will accompany the team to Brisbane along with many of the parents/guardians.
A bus has been organised to transport the players to Brisbane.
This weekend, Suburbs will play trials against Wattles from 4pm Saturday at Platz Oval.
