Eastern Suburbs keen to sign-on new players for league

RUGBY LEAGUE: The Eastern Suburbs Junior Rugby League Club has a sign-on this Saturday at the clubhouse at 10am-2pm.

Boys and girls welcome from under 7 to U16.

Eastern Suburbs will field teams in all grades in the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League competition in which 14 rounds of Saturday games are scheduled.

The first trials games of the season are on February 25 at Suburbs against Highfields in the older age groups.

Girls can play in the same teams as the boys in age groups up to and including U12s and can then play girls' leaguetag for ages 11 to 16.

Players can join up on Saturday at the clubhouse in Jackie Howe Drive, new players welcome to all grades.

Anyone who misses the sign-on welcome to the first training run on February 7 from 4.30pm where they can sign on. Information from secretary Carmen Richards 0423252247.
