Eastern Suburbs win close under-16 game against Wattles
EASTERN Suburbs beat Wattles 18-10 in the closest under-16 match in the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League competition in round 6.
Last year’s grand finalists Goondiwindi and Collegians won the other U16 games.

ALL Warwick and District boys in South West Mustangs representative teams trained at Dalby on Sunday as a forerunner to the Central Division Trials at Kingaroy on June 10-12.
For the first time, South West Mustangs teams won’t compete at state level.
This season, the Mustangs play in the Central trials prior to the selection of the Central Crows teams to play in the state championships in Toowoomba on June 29-July 3.
Championship games will be played on senior and junior fields at Glenholme Park, the home of Brothers club. The Central Crows teams will assemble for a training camp two days prior to the championships.
Age groups involved at Glenholme Park will be U13, U14 and U16 boys as well as U14 and U16 girls.
