Eggcellent day for fun

COME along and join Bugs the Easter Bunny for a day of egg hunting Easter fun at Leslie Park this weekend.

The Warwick Potters Association and the Warwick Artist Group has worked together to bring the Easter Fair on the Green on Saturday.

The day will run from 9am to 2pm with a variety of craft activities and food stalls.

Bugs the Easter Bunny will also make an appearance to take the children on an Easter egg hunt, with the first hunt about 9.30am, another about 10.30am and the last around 12.30pm.

Sue Keong, one of the organisers of the event, said it would be an excellent day out for the family.

"Families are important any time of the year, but this is a great opportunity to take advantage of the public holidays and get together," she said.

"This is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the facilities we are so fortunate to have at Leslie Park, enjoy the open space, music, craft and kid's activities.

With free children's activities throughout the day, parents can relax as the Baptist Boys and Girls Brigade members assist children with the Easter themed craft.

"Parents can enjoy the music and know the children are enjoying themselves."
