Elderly woman injured in crash

AN elderly woman suffered chest injuries and was taken to Warwick Hospital after she was involved in a two car prang at the intersection of Pratten and Guys streets this morning.

A Warwick Police spokesman said one vehicle travelled north along Guy Street and collided with a car which failed to give way on Pratten Street about 9am.

"An elderly female driver was taken to hospital by ambulance officers," the spokesman said.

"One driver was issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way at a give way sign."
