Emily the best of pony clubbers

Warwick Hack and Pony Club captain Emily Bradfield accepts the trophy from patron Dawn Eastwell for being Warwick rider with highest overall points at the club gymkhana.

PONY CLUB: Warwick Hack and Pony Club member Emily Bradfield won the trophy for most overall points in the annual club gymkhana.

The annual campdraft, team penning and gymkhana attracted 76 riders from Warwick, Killarney, Inglewood, Gatton, Stanthorpe, Inverell, Cambooya, Cunningham, Cedar Creek, Nerang, Goondiwindi, Texas and Allora.

Warwick won the overall trophy with 704 points from runner-up Killarney on 125. Inglewood was third and Cunningham fourth.

The event started with campdrafting and team penning on Saturday.

There were open and junior team penning competitions between teams of three who had to yard three cattle with the small coloured collar.

Gordon Murphy, Chris and Michelle O'Shea won the senior team penning.
