Equipment and tools damaged in shed fire north of Warwick

UPDATE 4.30pm: A shed has been extensively damaged along with equipment and tools in a fire on Robinson Rd, Sladevale, on Sunday afternoon.

The last of the three urban units on scene left the fire at 3.22pm.

Warwick police were on scene and said the shed was still standing but had been extensively damaged along with equipment and tools.

"There was no damage to other buildings and no injuries,” the police spokesman said.

"Investigations are continuing and fire investigators will be on the scene on Monday. The cause of the fire is unknown.”

EARLIER: Some equipment has been damaged in a shed fire in Robinson Rd, Sladevale, this afternoon.

The fire started around 1.45pm and the fire in the eight metres by eight metres shed was brought under control by firefighters using breathing apparatus.

At 2.35pm, three urban crews from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service were on scene.

A spokesman for the QFES said the fire was out but two firefighters with breathing apparatus were still inside the shed damping down hot spots.

Police and the QAS are on scene.

EARLIER: A SHED caught fire in Robinson Rd, Sladevale, this afternoon and two units from the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, Warwick station, are on scene.

Firefighters from both units used breathing apparatus to enter the building to fight the fire.

At 2.10pm, firefighters from one of the units was still inside as the fire was being brought under control.

No other buildings were threatened in an area north east of the Caltex Truck N Travel.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was on standby if needed.
