Erin shines at Miss Diamond Australia pageant
ERIN Giblin-Lloyd is no stranger to the pageant stage.
But for the Killarney teen it’s her most recent win that’s the jewel in the crown.
The 14-year-old has walked away with some of the top prizes at the Miss Diamond Australia National Grand Finals.
Erin not only won Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic and Miss Elegant, she was also placed third to the overall crown.
The Killarney P-10 School student was competing against a strong field of 42 other girls.
The pageant included three outfit changes and speaking in front of the audience.
For Erin, the pageant journey started two years ago.
“It just make you feel really happy being up on stage,” she said.
“It’s taken me out of my comfort zone.”
The teen is no stranger to the winning circle, with wins at Miss Country Girl and Miss Teen Australia.
Erin will now turn her attention to the next pageant, the Miss Country Girl Nationals on July 9.
“I’m really excited and a little bit nervous about it,” she said.
“I want to thank Kate from the Wow Factor for sponsoring me and all of her support.”
