Group travel on right wavelength

THE Killarney Walkie Talkie group visited Stanthorpe for their inaugural day out recently.

Group co-ordinator Sonya Carr said around 20 members of the Killarney Walkie Talkie group went on the outing where they visited Vincenzo's, Cheese Factory, the lookout and had a walk around Quart Pot Creek park.

Sonya said the group are looking at more outings to include Cunningham Gap Park, The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and Glengallan Homestead.

Mrs Carr said thanks the Queensland Health Service who sponsored the trip to Stanthorpe.

The Killarney walking group meets each week for walks around Killarney and can be seen in their bright red T-shirts.
