Jnr Showgirl entrant making cents

WARWICK Show Junior Showgirl entrant Mickayla Pratt held her major fundraising activity at the Douglas Feez Pavilion yesterday.

Family, friends and supporters bought plenty of tickets at the cent sale.

The showgirl entrants will be presented to the crowd at the show ball on March 27.

Before yesterday’s cent sale, Mickayla had raised $500 from raffles.

“People are happy to help out with fundraising,” Mickayla said.

“I enjoy going to the annual Warwick Show and seeing the dogs jump and the Demolition Derby.

“I also like the sideshows.”

She is also keen to help out with preparation of cattle for the show by her uncle Billy Ellis and his wife Jan, her showgirl sponsors.
