Excitement for OP results release

THE day Year 12 students from throughout the region have been waiting is almost here.

After years of school, months of study and weeks of waiting, OP results will be available in just hours and certificates will arrive in the post from early next week.

One student excitedly awaiting her results yesterday was Assumption College dux Larissa Millard.

"I've heard the results will be available from midnight but it all depends whether I'll log on to check them or not,” she said.

"I'm obviously excited about it but I'm working tonight so, if I finish late, I'll definitely have a look when I get home.”

Larissa said she wasn't "freaking out” about finding out her result.

"I'm just hoping for single digits, enough to get me into the course I want to do next year,” she said.

"I worked very hard this year and I'm fairly confident I'll do okay.”

Larissa is planning to study a Bachelor of Exercise Science/Master of Physiotherapy at Griffith University in 2017.

A State Government press release said students can access their Year 12 results from 9am tomorrow using their Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) and password to log into their learning account on the QCAA Student Connect website, studentconnect. qcaa.qld.edu.au.

Students with questions about results can call the hotline on 1800 804 991.
