Fabulous music and light show to help those in need

KILLARNEY resident Bob Bell is combining his love of Christmas lights with a passion to help those in need in order to create the perfect festive experience for Southern Downs residents.

Mr Bell spares no expense hanging lights from top to bottom of his 8 Oak St home. Even the gardens are dressed up for the occasion.

Last year Mr Bell synched the lights to music and through a donation box out the front managed to raise almost $1000 for the Salvation Army.

"This year we hope to raise even more with a bigger and better light show," Mr Bell said.

Like last year, this year's light show will be set to a musical soundtrack.

There will be both hour and half hour shows.

To listen, all you need to do is tune into 95.5FM on your car radio.

"A donation box will be next to Santa's countdown clock where we will be raising money for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal to help those less fortunate this Christmas," Mr Bell said.

"Donations will be welcome any day or night throughout December."

The light switches will be flicked on December 1.
