Fair ready to light up city’s spirit

FIREWORKS will light up Rose City skies as part of the Warwick Christian College's Bargains and Busking Arts Fair.

Next Saturday, March 29, the Warwick Christian College will hold its annual fair at the Slade Campus for the second time, with large crowds expected to attend and watch the spectacular fireworks display on the school oval.

Warwick Christian College principal Terrence McCorkell said the fair was a fundraiser for the school's P & F.

"I'd say we raise more community spirit than we do funds," he said.

"The fair connects people in the community."

The event will feature plenty of market stalls, lots of food, a mobile zoo and, of course, a fireworks display.

Mr McCorkell said the fair would be a whole lot of fun.

"Bring you whole family and stay for dinner," he said. "There'll be a bit of everything."

The fair will be held next Saturday from 3pm-6.45pm at the Slade Campus on Horsman Rd.
