Family connection to the winning golfers at NAB event

GOLF: Three Morrisons and Rod Kilner are the Weekend Warriors after winning the NAB Mercantile Day at the Warwick Golf Club on Sunday.

Charlie Morrison was joined by his wife Kath and brother Bill in the winning team.

They won with an outstanding fourball ambrose score of 53.75 nett.

The gross winners with seven under par on 62 were Dave Walker, Mark Thomas, Chris Hynes and Ben Pillar.

Money raised will be presented to the Warwick Dementia Support Group which was represented at the golf day by Rita Seed, Maree Ryan and Pam Eather.

Event organiser, NAB Agri Business manager Paul Swift, said the best of the teams with NAB representatives was the combination led by Terry Duggan and including Mike and Tom Smith and Peter Farrell.

"They had a brilliant run from the 10th to the 13th with four birdies,” he said.

The charity day attracted 68 players.
