Family connection unleashes top form

TOUCH: Three brothers and their uncle shared success with the Vanderfield Unleashed team in B-grade touch in Warwick.

Will Gordon was player of the final in an 8-6 win against The Brew Crew.

His brothers, Joe and Pat, were in the team along with their uncle, Phil Higgins.

Crackpots won another premiership in C grade with a 12-7 win against The Rough Necks, yet more touch glory for Crackpots team organiser Ian Christensen.

In D grade, Misfits beat The Dinkles 4-3 in the grand final in extra time after the score was 3-all at full time.

Misfits player Allira Charles said her team really wanted the grand final victory on Wednesday evening.

"It was our best performance of the season," Misfits player Aimee van der Hulst said.

The Misfits team included a large number of Warwick High students and was organised by Matt Loy.
