Family happy with choice of school

PLENTY of families took the opportunity to have a look through the Warwick Christian College facilities to see what the school had to offer on Saturday.

Primary teacher Amanda Hughes said she had shown a few families around the school during the morning and said they weren't deterred by the wet weather.

“It has been a positive reaction to the school,” she said.

New mother to the school Nicole Kane said she had chosen the school for her daughter Ashleigh because of its class sizes and the positive reports she had heard.

Ashleigh started with the college two weeks ago and has already joined the chess and science club immersing herself in extracurricular activities.

Mrs Kane said the open day was a good opportunity for interested families to come along and see what the school had to offer with no pressure.
