Fans to meet the Brisbane Heat stars in week of promotion
CRICKET: Warwick bowler Mark Steketee will spend the week meeting fans as the Brisbane Heat squad prepare for the KFC T20 Big Bash League.
The squad have been busy at training leading up to their first match against the Melbourne Renegades this Saturday at the Gabba.
Today the Brisbane Heat will play an exhibition game against the Nulls Masters at Limestone Park in Ipswich from 1pm until 4pm.
The Bulls squad will feature some of Australia's cricket legends led by Jimmy Maher, Michael Kasprowicz and Andrew Symonds.
Tomorrow, Warwick all-rounder Delissa Kimmince will join the team to promote the start of the Women's Big Bash League at Brisbane's South Bank Parklands.
On Thursday, the squad will make a public appearance at Queen St Mall from 11.30am until 1.30pm where they will be available to sign autographs and meet fans.
In the first game of the season for both the WBBL and BBL the Brisbane Heat teams will take to the Gabba on Saturday, December 19.
From 1pm the WBBL Brisbane Heat will take on the Adelaide Strikers followed by the BBL from 6.10pm
