Farmers invited to workshop on backpackers
LOCAL itinerant worker issues and the backpacker industry will be raised at a workshop hosted by Southern Downs Regional Council.
The session will be held next Wednesday from 9.45am, at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre.
Issues including accommodation, legal requirements and road safety will be discussed and farmers/primary producers, accommodation suppliers and community groups are invited.
