Fastest revealed at VW Warwick weekend
WOLLONGONG driver Rod Penrose had the fastest elapsed time of 5.45 seconds at the VW Warwick weekend at Warwick Dragway.
A lot of his competition for fastest elapsed time and highest speed was with his brother Wayne.
The event attracted almost 100 drivers and started with a VW show in Leslie Park on Saturday morning and continued with a Show N Shine on Sunday which attracted a lot of interest from Warwick VW enthusiasts.
Despite a shower at lunchtime Sunday, the weekend was a great success with almost all classes finished.
