Fence cut, $1000 in fuel stolen from back of vehicle

A THIEF has allegedly taken off with $1000 worth of fuel after cutting a fence to gain entry to a Lyra property.

Wallangarra Sergeant Alan Baker said the fuel was in a container on the back of a work vehicle when it was stolen overnight on Friday.

Nothing else was stolen from the property during the break in.

Sgt Baker urged anyone with information to come forward.

"Phone Wallangarra Police (4684 3120) or Crime Stoppers (1300 333 000) with information and any information will be treated confidentially," he said.
