Festival tickets going fast

FIREPLACES will be roaring and the smell of food will fill the air when visitors step into the Central Hotel next weekend.

After a glass of wine, or a pot of one of their boutique beers, visitors will settle down to a home-cooked four-course meal accompanied with jazz entertainment.

With just a week left until the Jumpers and Jazz Festival kicks off, tickets to the events are selling quickly.

Local band Almost Famous is in line to entertain visitors at the Central on July 23, where the food will be based on a Christmas in July theme. Tickets are $50.

That same night, Frankie’s on the Green Warwick Golf Club will be hosting a jazz night of their own.

Among the headline jazz acts are four-piece band Swing Central and local singer Emma Bell.

Tickets to the night include a three-course meal and all you can drink alcohol for $110 per person or two for $200.

Pre-purchased tickets are also encouraged at the following events:

Saturday July 23: High tea and jazz at Goomburra Hall (4666 6058).

Sunday July 24: Brunch with Steve Henry Quartet, Bryson’s Place (4661 4308).

Sunday July 24: Rotary Breakfast (4661 7363).
