WARWICK city centre has been taken over by Jumpers and Jazz spirit, with Palmerin St shut down today for the Stroll & Swing.

Hundreds of people are already flocking to the main street for the festival favourite brought back by popular demand this year.

The Mal Wood Band took to the jazz stage outside Warwick Town Hall this morning, while treasure hunters worked their way down the street to check out the Suitcase Rummage.

A new addition to the program this year is the Celebration of Local Flavours, which has enabled producers from around the region to hold stalls and show off their goods.

Past Masterchef contestants Sam Goodwin and Mimi Baines will be doing cooking demonstrations throughout the day outside the Warwick Post Office using local produce.

The free demonstrations will be taking place at 11:45am, 12:45pm and 1:45pm.

The Suitcase Rummage has already proven a popular attraction, with stalls surrounded by eager shoppers.

She was expecting large crowds and so far has not been disappointed.

"Everyone's got a smile on their face and there's such a variety that's being sold," she said.

The Stroll & Swing, Suitcase Rummage and Celebration of Local Flavours will run until 3pm today.
