Festival of peace... and camels?

JOIN in the fun of the Peace Festival this Sunday, with plenty on offer for all members of the family - including camel rides for the kids.

Organiser Ruth Power is excited about the range on offer for the one day event.

"I'm excited about the music program and the multicultural football carnival," she said.

"There's heaps of kids activities too."

All the action will be around the soccer fields at Queens Park, Warwick.

The official opening will be at 9.30am, after the first round of games.

There will be plenty of food on offer and stalls.

Join in the fun of the harmony walk at dusk and dance the rest of the night away at the evening concert.

A new addition for kids this year is the camel rides.

They will be available from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the information stall.
