FIGHT NIGHT: Saturday party-goers keep police busy

FIGHTS have broken out at several Warwick residences overnight, seeing two patients taken to hospital.

The Queensland Ambulance Service transported a patient with facial injuries from an address in Baguley St about 9.25pm and were also called to transport another patient, also suffering facial injuries, from an address in Hawker Rd about 12.50am.

QAS were unable to give any more details on either matter.

Warwick police Sergeant Greg Burton said both matters involved alcohol and groups of people, but said no complaints were made in either case.

"Police were kept busy last night attending several minor disturbances but for the amount of party-goers in Warwick overall behaviour was pretty good," he said.

About 10pm at The Malt House on Wood St, a 28-year-old Warwick man disobeyed a direction by staff to leave the premises and police were called.

The man was arrested shortly after for failing to move on when instructed by police and is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on June 6.

About 2am, again on Wood St, police pulled over a 46-year-old Warwick man and performed a roadside breath test.

Police said the man registered a blood alcohol concentration of .141 and was issued a notice to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court at a later date.
