Figures show November much warmer than usual for Warwick

IT IS no secret that this November has been a scorcher for Warwick.

But the official figures reveal just how warm the month has been.

Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Dean Narramore said this month had been above average in multiple statistics.

"We won't have all the figures until another week or so when it rolls over into December," Mr Narramore said.

"But it certainly has been warmer than usual.

"The average temperature for Warwick in November is 27.5 degrees but the average temperature for this November has been 32.8 degrees."

Mr Narramore said it was too early to tell whether the summer would be hotter than usual or whether the temperature was simply peaking earlier.

Mr Narramore said Warwick would see some relief from the heat in the coming week, with temperatures set to drop under 30 from today.
