Finalists determined for Australia Day cricket

CRICKET: Maryvale Condy and Bears/Small's XI are playing in the competitive grade grand final in the Condamine Sports Club Warwick Australia Day Cricket Carnival.

The grand final started at 1.30pm at Slade Park and will be followed by a barbecue and presentation of trophies.

Bears/Small's XI have won the carnival eight times and Maryvale twice but the last win by either team was the Maryvale win in 2010. The star for Bears/Small's XI in this morning's semi was Paul Smart with 88.

Last year's winners Stunned Mullets won their semi but didn't win by a big enough margin to make the final.

Kane Bradford was dropped in the outfield when Stunned Mullets needed three runs off the final four balls of the match but then hit a six to win the game.

In the social grand final, Luke Grayson was 33 not out and Digglers 2-84 after 13.4 overs batting first against Sel's XI at Briggs Oval.

At Allora on Saturday, Mitch Siebenhausen hit a four of the last ball of the game for Summers to draw with SBH XI.
