Warwick basketball grand final night

DUNCAN McKenzie will lead the Odds And Ends team in tonight's Gold division grand final against Knights at WIRAC at 8pm.

McKenzie played representative basketball for New South Wales and for the Warwick Wildcats and will play in a position known as swing man.

He will cover a number of positions but most of all his on-court leadership will be crucial.

Fellow Wildcats player Kevin Globio is part of the Odds And Ends team with Shannon Slater one of the big men in the team.

Mainly high school age students, the young Knights are coached by Jay Clark.

Joshua Clark is one of the young guns in a team which also includes former Queensland Basketball League player Chris Pender.

In the silver grand final, the Perry brothers Shaun and Shane, are part of the Underdogs team which will play the 23s.

The 23s are predominately new players who qualified for the final after defeating the previously unbeaten Pirates last week.
