Fine forecast for Allora Cup

RACEGOERS are gearing up for a triumphant return to the track, with the Allora Cup marking the first race meeting for the year at Allman Park tomorrow.

The seven-race TAB meeting is expected to bring large crowds, with sunny weather forecast.

The Allora Cup was run for the first time at Allman Park last year, and proved to be a crowd pleaser.

Racegoers can dress up or play it casual, with plenty of fun, drinks and laughter to be had, and are also invited to set up their own pop-up marquees for an afternoon on the lawn.

Punters can cheer on and back local trainers including Garry Schwenke and Norm Hilton.

Saturday's race will be the first of many for the year at Allman Park, with the next to be the Tradies Races on February 21.
