Finest window wonderlands
CLARE'S Hair Together and True Beauty took out first place in the Warwick Chamber of Commerce Christmas Window competition.
It was a close competition though, with Clare's Hair Together finishing on 26 points, just one point ahead of Workin' Wear Warwick and Booshilar Hair and Nail Studio, which tied for second.
Pure Heaven and Property Specialists followed them, both with 24 points.
Warwick Chamber of Commerce president Bruce Partridge said the participating shops did a great job.
"The chamber was very impressed with the number of stores who went to a lot of effort to get their windows looking great for a brighter and more desirable shopping experience," he said.
"The window competition was part of the Put Warwick on Your Wish List This Christmas campaign led by the chamber, and was supported by the Warwick Daily News and Warwick Tourism and Events."
Mr Partridge said the promotion had been successful.
"Early reports indicate more out-of-town shoppers as a result of promotional activity," he said.
The winners and runners-up will receive free advertising from the Warwick Daily News.
