Fire and Ice is the theme at this year's harvest festival
FLOATS in this year's Apple and Grape Harvest Festival's grand parade will be dripping with red and covered with dashes of white as entrants work to incorporate the Fire and Ice theme.
This year is Bill Brown's first as the director of the parade and he is certain it will be the best one yet.
"Last festival we had more than 50 entrants but, as I always say, the more the merrier," he said.
"The parade is one of the highlights of the festival and we will have a large crowd gathered to watch it."
Mr Brown said the parade would be led by a police escort, including a troop of mounted police. The grand parade will get under way at 2pm on Saturday, March 8.
