Smoke causing issues for Cunningham Hwy motorists
UPDATE: Firefighters continue to urge motorists to drive carefully after a roadside fire caused "smoke issues".
Firefighters have since controlled the blaze, however say smoke is still an issue for those travelling through Cunninghams Gap.
A Queensland Fire Rescue Service spokeswoman said the fire was "safe and under control".
"Firefighters have now gone back in to investigate the rest of the fire," she said.
3PM: Motorists travelling through Cunningham's Gap this afternoon are urged to drive with care, with reports a grass fire has broken out.
Emergency crews are currently making their way to the scene of the fire, which is reported to be burning about 2km from the helipad, toward Warwick.
