UPDATE: False alarm for an Allora scrub fire

UPDATE: A single Queensland Fire and Emergency Service unit responded to a suspected bush fire at Allora earlier this morning. 

The fire was controlled burn that was incorrectly called in. 

QFES officers arrived at about 10.40am and left shortly after. 

10:30: QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Service units are en route to a bushfire south of Allora.

The fire was reported at 10.26am.

A QFES spokesman said the fire is burning along Warwick-Allora Rd, near the intersection with Kates Rd.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
