Fire destroys house on western Darling Downs

A HOME on the Warrego Hwy at Brigalow has been destroyed by fire this afternoon.

The fire broke out about 3pm.

The occupants of the house were next door at a clothing boutique at the time, but were able to save their pets.

Queensland Ambulance Service personnel confirmed that nobody was harmed during the incident.

By 4pm three urban appliances had arrived at the scene, but the house was totally destroyed.

The family has been provided accommodation by friends following the disaster.

The cause of the blaze is undetermined.
