Firefighters smash window to rescue truck driver on highway

A MAN was rescued by firefighters this morning after the truck he was driving rolled over on the Cunningham Highway about 10km west of Inglewood.

The man managed to walk from the truck after firefighters smashed the window to free him.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said one crew from Inglewood were called to the scene at 5.26am.

Emergency services left the scene at 6.15am.

The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
